Cesan D'Ornellas Levine Exhibition - BRINGING ART TO THE PUBLIC FORUM

Abstract expressionist painter, Cesan d'Ornellas Levine is exhibiting at Toronto's Petroff Gallery from March 3 - 25, 2012 .

Known for her vibrant, pulsing images as visual mantra, she strives to create pure abstractions of universal iconography, breaking down differential boundaries between cultures, celebrating diversity.

The exhibition includes a workshop for youth, to create communal piece being donated to the Toronto Ronald McDonald House (MARCH 18 from 12PM-5PM limited attendance).

Cesan will be the Artist in Residence at Petroff Gallery for the month of March, painting live in the gallery March 16th and 17th, and again March 24th and 25th with a live telecast in the front window! This is a great thing to do with kids on the March Break! Come be part of the event and speak with the artist at our MEET AND GREET SATURDAY, MARCH 17TH 12-5pm AND SUNDAY, MARCH 25TH 12-5pm NEW! To really connect with her work, Cesan will be broadcasting the creation of her paintings from her head-cam, live on Facebook, Petroff Gallery website and Twitter. This will be powerful opportunity for tremendous self expression and fearless creativity! 12:00-2:00pm, Cesan is offering a hands on workshop at Petroff Gallery for 10 individuals who want to access their inner artist. This course is appropriate for all levels and is open to all, from age 9 to 90. The course fee of $36 and materials fee of $10 (both + HST) provides you with 2 hours of studio space with artist guidance, a 12" x 12" canvas, a palette of paints, various acrylic media, brushes and a selection of other painting tools.
