Alex Anagnostou is an internationally acclaimed artist who has been sculpting blown and cast glass and metal since 2000. Her work is inspired by how the history of the glass lens and technology has revolutionized our ability to see on a microscopic and macroscopic level. Her intimate topographical landscape sculptures explore issues of time, space, nature, energy and interconnectedness. Alex has exhibited her work in galleries across North American and at Collect, Victoria and Albert Museum in London, U.K., the Craft Biennale in Korea and 6 shows at SOFA Chicago, an international exposition of fine sculptural objects.
