Micheal Zarowsky is a Canadian painter working in acrylic, watercolour & pastels. His impressionist landscapes show distinctive ways of seeing & conveying the world's beauty. Zarowsky’s work moves toward the effect of abstraction and exudes a textural quality, but still embody the veracity of realism, his landscapes capturing the dazzle of light. Many of his watercolours are on paper but others are painted on prepared birch panels, by means of a special technique he has invented; mixing acrylics in with watercolour and varnishing the finished work.
